Requesting an Absentee Ballot
Absentee voting was hugely popular during the 2020 election due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An absentee ballot was linked to here. The link remains for informational purposes. It was a "fillable" form on which you could enter your personal information to then be printed and signed with pen and ink. The signed document was then to be mailed, emailed or faxed.
Montgomery County, Indiana residents sent the Absentee Ballot Request Form to:
Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk
P.O. Box 768
Crawfordsville, IN 47933
or
Fax: 765-364-6355
or
Email:
(Scanned or photographed copies of the completed form were acceptable.)
or
Voters could drop off the form in person.
The LWV also presented the very timely Lunch with the League video, IN Vote By Mail
How to Vote
The LWV will have local voting information here as the next election approaches.
Get to Know Local Candidates
The LWV strives to educate voters about issues and candidate positions so that they may make informed decisions. For instance, for the 2020 election, local radio station FM 106.3, our Chamber of Commerce, the International Federation of Business and Professional Women, and our very own LWV teamed up to present a Candidates Forum.
Additionally, our Voter Outreach Team was busy collecting Local Candidate Information for the Vote411 website. Vote411 allows voters to access ballot information specific to our community, as well as our state and nation.
